Sadie J. (Fulk) Smith, 61, of Brazil, passed away Sunday August 22, 2010 at Union Hospital, following a battle with cancer. She was born November 5, 1948, in Clay County, the daughter of John W. Sr. and Esther M. (Lints) Fulk. She had worked at Davis Gardens, Columbia House, and Quality Inn, in Terre Haute, and Ivy Hill, Happico and Chyoda in Greencastle. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters: MaryAnn Brayden, Thelma Fulk, George Fulk, Ida May Martin, and John Winston Fulk Sr.. She is survived by her son Chester Ray Smith Jr. and wife Audra; daughter Jaunita Ann Dickison and husband Josh; grandchildren: Derek Smith, Chelsi Renea Smith, Brooke Elmore, Kayla Deck, and Madilynn Marie Dickison; siblings: Joe Fulk, Ruth Reynolds, Ruby Barnett, Tom Fulk and wife Pam, Gladys Collins and husband Bud, and Margaret Fulk; and a sister-in-law Mary Hargis and husband Tom of Kentucky. Funeral InformationServices will be at French Funeral Home, Friday, August 27, 2010 at 1:00pm with Pheobe Kidwell officiating. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from 11am until time of services. |
