Cynthia Sue (Demaree) Stantz, 50, of Brazil, passed away unexpectedly January 12, 2013 at St. Vincent Clay Hospital. Cindy was born in Indianapolis, Indiana December 7, 1962 the daughter of Jerry and Peggy (Sears) Demaree. She graduated from Clay City High School with the class of 1981. Cindy had worked as a manager at Speedway Gas Station in Brazil and then at Lear Corporation in Greencastle for several years before retiring due to health issues. She enjoyed watching reality t.v. shows and “chick flicks”. She also enjoyed surfing on the internet and spending time on Facebook. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with friends, family and her beloved dog Pacheno. She was preceded in death by her parents and two nephews Dusty Reagin and Josh West and a sister-in-law Doris Stantz. She is survived by her husband Gary “Kermit” Stantz of Brazil; a son Kyle Stantz of Brazil; siblings: Jerry Demaree Jr., Shari (Gary) Nicoson, Brenda (Wayne) West, Regina (Christopher) Dickison, Joe (Beckie) Demaree, Bill (Jenny) Demaree; father and mother-in-law Howard and Carol Stantz; brothers-in-law: H. Anthony (Cindy) Stantz and Jon (Lisa) Stantz as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral InformationServices will be at French Funeral Home, Thursday, January 17, 2013, at 1:00pm with Pastor Bob Kumpf officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday from 11am until time of services.
