6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt

French Funeral Home held their 6th annual Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 12, 2014 in the field north of Lawson Miller Chapel. There were over 3000 candy filled eggs and a grand prize for each age group. The grand prize winner for ages 0-4 years old was Kohlson Long. Kohlson is 2 years old and is the son of Michelle and Bobby Long. Kohlson won a Little Tikes Sandy Lagoon Water Table. The grand prize winner for ages 5-8 was Ava Goins. Ava is 6 years old and is the daughter of Kevin and Christina Goins. Ava won a Razor Power Scooter. The grand prize winner for ages 9-12 was Chloe Clark. Chloe is the daughter of Alan and Valerie Clark. Chloe won a DVD player and 3 DVDS

Juanita M Booe

Juanita M. Booe, 79 of Terre Haute, formerly of Clay City and Brazil, passed away July 31, 2007 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital at 12:40pm. She was born April 29, 1928 in Malden, Mo the daughter of Daniel and Nancy Pope. She was married to Donald Booe, he preceded her in death September 10, 1995. She enjoyed being a homemaker, shopping, and decorating.
Survivors include her daughters Sharon K. Roesch and husband Fred, and Retha D. Horrick and husband Dean all of Terre Haute; 4 grandchildren Michele Zack, Cherish Jaeger, Bryan Johnson, and Trent Roesch; 5 great-grandchildren Kylie Zack, Justin Jaeger, Garrett Johnson, Tanner Jaeger and Lauren Johnson; a special friend Robert Snyder; nieces and nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Don Booe; two sisters Lucille Galbert and Louise Wiley; two brothers Jess Pope and Jim Pope.

Funeral Information

Services will be held Friday at Schoppenhorst Funeral home at 1:00pm with Pastor Keith Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11-1pm.
