Cameron Lee King

Cameron Lee King, 23 of Knightsville, died unexpectedly October 24, 2010.

He was born March 30, 1987, in Brazil, the son of Robert and Melissa Lawrence King. Cam was a 2005 graduate of Northview High School. He was accepted at Butler University and was currently in his final year of Pharmacy School at Butler. He was to graduate in May. He was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. The day of the “White Coat” Ceremony was one of his most proud days. He had attended Christ Community Church and currently attended Grace Chapel in Brazil.

While a student at Northview, Cam was involved in cross-country and track and was always an exceptional student who loved school. He has always had a love for the outdoors, and riding his 4-wheeler was a passion since he was a little boy.

He was known for his sense of humor and stubbornness, and will be remembered as a wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.

He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Larry King.

Cameron Lee is survived by his parents, Rob and Missy King of Knightsville; one brother Eric King; one sister Lottie King; grandmother Geneva King; grandparents, Don and Shirley Lawrence; girlfriend, Emily Ross; aunts and uncles, Steve and Joyce Lawrence, Steph and Mike Johnson, Cindy and Troy Hicks, Wayne and Dottie King, Earl and Vicki King and Lisa Lee; cousins, Brandy (Julian) Greco, Ryan Lawrence, Jerry Johnson, Mike (Beth) Okulovich, Michelle (Eric) Tracy, Shawn King, T.J. King, Michael King, Jordan King, Danielle King, Josh (Charlene) King, Brandy (Eric) Brown, Tiffany King, Whitney King, Cinda Lee, Eddie Lee; second cousins, Cainan, Brevan, Jace, Zach, Jordan, Lynnlee, James, Izik, Gracie, Audrey, Donavan, Jackson, Jacob, Tyler, Case, Gracen, Daylee, and Mylah; other extended family and a host of close friends.

Funeral Information

Services will be Friday, October 29, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E National Ave. with Pastor Tim Russell officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 - 9:00 PM and again Friday prior to services.

Donations Information

To honor the King family, donations may be made toward Cam's educational expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
