Philosophy
I feel, and truly believe, that God allows me to do this work. Therefore, I had better do it well and to His Glory. For each one of my families to place such a sacred trust in me is overwhelming to me. I strive to care for each and every family with Faith, Caring and Compassion.
We at the funeral home are well known for suggesting options and personal services for a family. We feel that it is our gift to a family to listen carefully. We are then able to suggest just the right touches that would make the service a wonderful tribute.
For example, one simple yet touching memorial for someone that loved flowers and was a friend to many people would be the gift of flower packets. Using packets of flower seeds to give to those at the memorial service is a good idea, but it could be much more. Picture a table set up in the chapel, with a table cover from this lady's kitchen. On the table would be a large garden basket, tied with a beautiful bow on the handle. Next to the basket would be her gardening gloves, and hand tools. The basket would be lined with material that would be color coordinated. In the basket could be packages of forget-me-not seed packets, with a label printed on each saying,
"...please take one of these packages in my memory. I hope the flowers bloom, bringing you joy, as my family and friends have brought me joy! God Bless You!" - Love, Helen.
We discover that the possibilities are endless when we truly listen to what special things were important to the individual and to their family. Taking the time to plan a out of the ordinary tribute is something in which we take pride. Many times families have a plan involving what they think is important for a memorial service. We gladly help facilitate whatever it takes to see their wishes brought to fruition.
We believe that a family placing their trust in us to care for someone they have loved is a sacred trust. We believe that God has given us the gift to care for the families in this time of loss. We strive to care for each family with Faith, Caring and Compassion.
